Web@lfemminile - one of the main initiatives by futuro@lfemminile (Microsoft Italy Corporate Social Responsibility Project for Equal Opportunities (www.futuroalfemminile.it)) - is a digital event, dealing with the subject of the gender gap from numerous perspectives includes a schedule enriched with video interviews, debates and forums using the latest communication technology.
Web@lfemminile aims to promote a new technological culture that clears off the barriers that nowadays obstruct the efficiency and productivity of the Country.
The initiative is a 24-hour, non-stop “made in women” event exclusively online at www.webalfemminile.it, that became a virtual container where business people, individuals from the world of institutions, schools and media but also common folks have been invited to make their contribution on the subject of the gender gap and the relationship between women and technology.
The event is aimed at all kinds of women: business women, women students, women in government, managers, housewives, pensioners. Women who are already exploiting technology to improve the quality of their lives and those who wish to explore its possibilities.
Every year web@lfemminile, which first took place in 2008, puts forward a different claim, each one showing the world of women in an original and stimulating guise.
This year's event was dedicated to the “PARTICIPATION AGE of women to the political, economic and social arena”.
