From 16th -18th May 2013, WIL partner Microsoft organized The Pink Cloud Conference aimed at empowering young women’s professional achievements in STEM and ICT.

On the occasion of the International “Girls in ICT” Day on 25th April, the European Internet Foundation (EIF) and the European Commission hosted a joint lunch meeting in the European Parliament, followed by a hearing on “Women in ICT”. The seminar “A Case for EU Competitiveness – Quotas in the Boardroom”, hosted by WIL member and Member of the European Parliament Silvana Koch-Mehrin at the European Parliament, focused on the Directive on gender quotas for non-executive directors, proposed by Viviane Reding, Vice-President of the European Commission.
